Calculators you can check
Every figure Cafeity derives is arithmetic you should be able to see. These run the same derivations the app uses — the same 1.4 g/kg for protein, 33 ml/kg for hydration, Mifflin–St Jeor for energy — entirely in your browser, with nothing sent anywhere.
-
Protein calculator
A daily protein figure from body weight, using the same 1.4 g/kg derivation as the app.
-
Water intake calculator
A daily hydration figure from body weight, on the same 33 ml/kg basis as the app.
-
Fibre intake reference
The 25 g daily reference the app logs against, and how it is counted.
-
BMI calculator
Body mass index from height and weight, plus what it does and does not measure.
-
TDEE calculator
BMR and total daily energy expenditure via Mifflin–St Jeor, shown as an estimate.
-
Weight change percentage
Percentage change between a starting and a current weight — plain arithmetic.
-
Half-life calculator
The remaining fraction of a dose after n days — a schedule sketch, not a measurement.
What these are not
They are not medical advice, not a dose recommender, and not a substitute for a prescriber. Cafeity is a general wellness product: it records what you log and shows it back to you, and it never advises on a medication or a dose.
