Fibre intake reference
Fibre is the third number Cafeity tracks alongside protein and water. It is a flat reference rather than a weight-based derivation, and this page explains why.
How it is worked out
A flat reference, not a formula
Cafeity uses 25 g a day. Unlike protein and hydration it is not scaled by body weight, because the common public-health references are stated as flat daily amounts rather than per-kilogram figures.
How the app counts it
Fibre comes from the same food entries as protein and energy, drawn from a 14,098-item offline database built from USDA Foundation and SR Legacy data, the Pakistan food composition tables, and regional dishes.
What it is not
Not a treatment for any digestive symptom. Changes in digestion are common on a GLP-1 and belong in a conversation with a prescriber, not with a calculator.
Common questions
Why 25 g rather than a personalised figure?
Does Cafeity tell me to eat more fibre?
This is general wellness information
Cafeity does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, and never recommends, calculates or adjusts a medication dose. Anything on this page is arithmetic you can check, not advice. Questions about your treatment belong with a licensed healthcare professional.
