Comparison
Cafeity compared with Shotsy
Shotsy is one of the most established GLP-1 trackers, with tens of thousands of App Store ratings and versions for iPhone and Android. If you are choosing between the two, the useful question is not which is better, but which way of keeping the record suits you.
Where Shotsy is ahead
Plainly: Shotsy has been on the App Store since May 2024, has more than 32,000 ratings averaging 4.8 stars, runs on Android as well as iPhone, and is available in seventeen languages. Cafeity launched on 21 September 2026, is iPhone-only and English-only, and has no ratings yet. If platform, maturity or language matters to you, Shotsy is the safer choice today.

The real difference is what the app says back
Both apps keep a dose record and draw an estimated medication curve. Shotsy leans towards a capable, analytics-rich logbook with schedules and countdowns. Cafeity is narrower on purpose: it is built around the chain from dose to appetite to what you managed to eat, describes that chain in plain language, and draws hard lines — it will never calculate, time or adjust a dose, and it will never predict an outcome. If you want a feature-rich tracker on any phone, Shotsy is a strong choice. If you want a record that explains your week and stops there, that is the gap Cafeity is built for.
Where your data lives
This is a genuine difference rather than a marketing one. Shotsy syncs health data through your private iCloud on iPhone and through Google Firebase on Android, and says it never sells personal information. Cafeity keeps health data on the device and in your own account under per-record permissions, never in iCloud, never for advertising, with full export and deletion. Read both privacy policies; they are short.
