Comparison
Cafeity compared with MeAgain
MeAgain is the most visible app in this category and, by its own numbers, much the largest. If you are choosing between the two, the honest summary is that they are built on different convictions about what an app should say to you — not that one is a worse version of the other.
Where MeAgain is ahead
Two things are worth saying plainly. MeAgain has shipped, on both platforms, to a large number of people who rate it highly — Cafeity has done none of that yet. And it has a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist on staff building its food guidance, which is a real investment in credibility that we have not yet matched.
Side by side
| Cafeity | MeAgain | |
|---|---|---|
| Status | Released on the App Store for iPhone on 21 September 2026. | Shipped on iPhone and Android; 4.8 stars from 32K ratings by their count. |
| Medication naming | Generic names only in all marketing — semaglutide, tirzepatide, liraglutide. Brand names exist inside the app purely as labels you can pick for a dose record. | Brand names used prominently throughout marketing and site structure. |
| Dose timing | Never. Cafeity draws an estimated level from your logged doses and stops there; suggesting when to dose is a hard limit. | Markets timing your dose “so it peaks when you need it most”. |
| Assistant | Ora answers questions about your own record. Every figure is computed by the app first and checked against the log. It will not name a condition, predict an outcome or comment on a dose. | Capy, with unlimited chat on the Premium subscription. |
| Hard limits | No calorie target below 1,200 kcal; no weight goal below a BMI of 18.5; no outcome predictions. Limits, not settings. | Not stated on their marketing site. |
| Social proof | None. No testimonials, no ratings, no before-and-after numbers, because there is nothing honest to show yet. | Named ambassadors with weight-loss figures and verified App Store reviews. |
| Health data | Never stored in iCloud, never sold, never used for advertising. Full export and full deletion. | Refer to their current privacy policy. |
The real difference is tone
MeAgain is a coach: it has a dietitian, a companion character, a nutrition plan built around your goals, and it will tell you when to time a dose. Cafeity is a record: it describes what you logged, draws the week, and hands you a page for your appointment. If you want an app that guides you, MeAgain is honestly the better fit. If you have found that guidance from software makes you trust it less, that is the gap Cafeity is built for.
Why we will not do dose timing
It is the clearest single divergence, so it deserves a straight answer. Cafeity's estimated level comes from your logged dose dates and a published population half-life. That is enough to describe a week and nowhere near enough to time a medication — individual pharmacokinetics vary, the model is a sketch, and the moment an app converts that sketch into advice it is making a clinical claim it cannot support. So the app has no code path that recommends, calculates or adjusts a dose or its timing.
Why our marketing avoids brand names
Cafeity's medication catalogue is built generic-first, with brand names available inside the app as display aliases on a dose record. They do not appear in our marketing, our App Store listing or our page structure. That costs us search traffic on the highest-volume terms in this category, and we are choosing to pay it: it keeps a clear line between an independent record-keeping tool and the manufacturers, whose trademarks these are.
Not affiliated with either
Cafeity is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by MeAgain, Novo Nordisk, Eli Lilly or any pharmaceutical manufacturer. All trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

What Cafeity actually records
- GLP-1 dose tracker — Every dose, with the date, the amount and the site, and the week it produced.
- GLP-1 side effect tracker — What you felt, when, and how strongly — recorded on the same timeline as your doses.
- GLP-1 weight tracker — Weight as a trend rather than a daily verdict, in the context of the cycle.
- GLP-1 protein tracker — Protein-first food logging for a smaller appetite, with fibre and hydration alongside.
- Injection site tracker — A body map that shows where the last few went, so rotation is visible not remembered.
