Comparison
Cafeity compared with Glapp
Glapp describes itself as the first community-driven GLP-1 app, built by people on the medication. It overlaps with Cafeity more than most — both track shots, side effects and food noise — and then goes somewhere Cafeity deliberately does not: predictions, and comparisons with other people.
Where Glapp is ahead
Glapp runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and in a web browser; Cafeity is iPhone-only. It has been on the App Store since March 2026 and has 925 ratings averaging 4.7 stars, while Cafeity launched on 21 September 2026 and has none yet. It keeps a full medication inventory — vials, pens, concentration, volume and beyond-use dates — that deducts each dose as you log it. If you need Android or the web, or you want to see your progress against other people on the same medicine, Glapp is the better fit.

Predictions and comparisons are the real difference
Glapp's shot phases forecast hunger and energy across the week, and its reports set your progress against trial results and against other people on the same medicine and dose. Some people find that motivating, and Glapp is built for them. Cafeity works to the opposite rule: it describes what has already happened in your own record and never forecasts. Trial results are averages across hundreds or thousands of people — see how trial results are reported — and a comparison with strangers can make an ordinary week feel like a failure. Neither approach is wrong; they suit different people.
Doses are where Cafeity stops
Glapp's website offers a calculator that converts a tirzepatide dose into syringe units. Cafeity will never calculate, convert or time a dose. Those numbers belong to your prescriber and pharmacist, and mistakes with them cause real harm — the FDA has warned about exactly these errors with compounded products (see compounded GLP-1s).
Where your data lives
Glapp says your data is encrypted, never sold or shared, and deletable at any time, and it syncs across its apps and the web. Cafeity keeps health data on the device and in your own account under per-record permissions, never in iCloud and never for advertising, with full export and deletion. Read both privacy policies.
